With NYOS® PhytoMaxx you get a highly concentrated phytoplankton solution from professional aquaculture. PhytoMaxx contains fresh, live Nannochloropsis algae of size 2-5 µm. It is produced under almost sterile conditions and cleaned with special centrifuges.

NYOS® PhytoMaxx is a highly concentrated phytoplankton product from professional aquaculture. It contains fresh, live Nannochloropsis algae of size 2-5 µm.

PhytoMaxx is manufactured in cooperation with a highly specialized biotechnology laboratory according to our specifications under permanent quality assurance and control. A state-of-the-art photobioreactor technology tailored to the corresponding algae is used. The live algae are harvested gently with special centrifuges, effectively purified and then processed in sterile seawater. Such standards are usually only used in professional aquaculture. The result is an extremely clean, live microalge biomass that has no bacterial impurities. PhytoMaxx is free of artificial colors, preservatives or antioxidants. It is highly concentrated and contains 500 million fresh, live algae cells per ml. Due to the sterile production conditions, PhytoMaxx is almost odorless and can be kept refrigerated for up to 6 months. In the aquarium, Phytomaxx is the ideal live food for e.g. Tridacna mussels, sponges, filtrators or soft corals.
